Enabling Risk
Detective Addin Often, when you open Risk Detective, you will be asked by Excel whether you want to enable this macro/addin. You should answer Yes, Accept, or Enable.
For some Excel 2007 installations, your security settings may be so high, that you are not given the option to enable Risk Detective when you open it. To solve this second situation, one way is to add your Risk Detective folder to one of your Trusted Locations within Excel. Here's how to do this. 1. Click the circular logo at the top left of Excel 2007, and choose Excel Options at the bottom 2. Choose Trust Center in the left column, then click Trust Center Settings. 3. Choose Trusted Locations in the left column, and click the bottom "Add New Location" 4. Click the Browse button, and find the folder on your computer containing the Risk Detective software. Now click OK, several times, to close these options windows.
